These Designed-for-Touch monitors were developed for specific requirements in various markets, including retail, hospitality, industrial, gaming machines, entertainment devices as well as office automation applications. The standard version comes with various touch technologies, loudspeakers and digital OSD. Additionally, models with integrated magnetic stripe reader, fingerprint reader or VFD customer display are available on request.
The multi-functional LCD monitors are available in display sizes from 30.5 cm (12'') - 43.2 cm (17''). The stylish and robust units are developed for heavy use in public areas. A particularly stable monitor stand with hidden cables allows seamless installation at any point-of-sale. The monitors are available in dark grey and beige colours to fit into different retail environments.

The multifunctional 1729L model of this product range provides even more flexibility with its adjustable monitor stand. It also offers a range of field-installable optional peripherals. A choice of up to three of the optional peripherals can be installed including: the magnetic stripe reader, vacuum fluorescent, rear-facing LED customer display, biometric fingerprint recognition device, and speaker bar (3 W, amplified) with or without a built-in single or omni-directional bar code scanner.
